Currently based in Milan, Italy, Mirei Monticelli is the creative director of Studiomirei. Her work is deeply rooted in using artisanal and traditional techniques and fusing them to the modern world to create a new language.
The lightness and transparency of her work has been described as a “a breath of poetry” (Marie Claire Maison), and has been awarded by the Salone Satellite during the Milan Design Week in 2019.
