DESCRIPTION
Inspired by the Venetian island and its characteristic mosaics, the Torcello Sculptural Lamp looks like a modern skyscraper. This decorative multicolored sculpture in Murano glass has a sinuous shape with a painted metal support. The procedure for creating this sculpture is very complex and laborious. The glass processing technique is performed entirely by hand. As in the mosaic technique, also in this design the multicolored glass rods are cut and meticulously joined together, symbolically showing a skyscraper in the sunlight.
