DESCRIPTION
Elios is a leaf-shaped golden glass sculpture mounted on a painted metal base. The sculpture is dedicated to the titan Helios who was the personification of the Sun in Greek mythology. The procedure to create this sculpture is very complex and laborious. The first step is to compose the sequence of colors, while the second one is to create the shape. It is realized using pastel and transparent Murano glass, blended with gold leaves. The glass processing technique is performed entirely by hand.
