DESCRIPTION
A multiuse container / table center-piece, made by raw granite stone and ceramic.
Neolithic is the age when humanity discovered ceramic from rock powder”. This fruit bowl is based on the contrast between the granite piece, which has been kept rough, letting the nature contributing to its beauty, and the ceramic element, which has been designed carefully in order to emphasize the knowledge of the craftsman.
The two elements that compose the object are separable, no fixed connections. The stone is a waste of quarries, useless small piece. It has an already existing flat surface on one side, that simplify the fixation of the stone when worked. The cylinder above comes from the coring aside, made on the same piece of granite.
