DESCRIPTION
Allumia was born from a sheet of aluminium. It’s neither a painting nor a sculpture but rather the Collection of a space that from two-dimensional becomes three-dimensional. By keeping the surface colour neutral, the cut is emphasised and that which can be seen beyond it. A painting/sculpture that dialogues with the surface on which it is placed, breaking it up and framing it at the same time, creating a sense of infinity. The finishing touch for this edition of Allumia is based on the sand theme.
